Between 2022 and 2026, KE‑NCR moved from a fragmented, event‑centered community into a more visible, connected and increasingly structured community organization. The committees:
Built communication platforms – public website, active Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and a community‑wide WhatsApp group.
Strengthened administration – opened an organizational bank account and kept required government filings current.
Connected at the grassroots – launched four regional Mitaa (Kaskazini, Kusini, Mashariki, Magharibi) to foster neighbourhood‑level support.
Established a dependable calendar – Madaraka Day, Summer Barbecue and Jamhuri Day became stable annual pillars.
Broadened programming – health, finance, real‑estate, immigration and newcomer information sessions.
Grew partnerships – with ACAO, sponsors such as LemFi, Pesa, Centerpointe, Iristel, and Kenyan‑owned local businesses.
Showcased Kenyan talent and enterprise – including DJs, professionals, entrepreneurs and the Umoja Cultural Dance Troupe.
Strengthened governance – created a five‑member Advisory Board to support continuity, transparency and responsible growth.
“The 2022–2026 period has been one of meaningful institution‑building for KE‑NCR… The incoming committee is not starting from zero. It inherits structures, relationships, experience and public goodwill that can be strengthened further.”
