Every year, the Kenyan community in the National Capital Region comes together to celebrate moments that remind us of home and bring us closer as a community. From the little ones to our elders, there’s something for everyone. Some of our biggest annual gatherings include Madaraka Day, Summer Barbeque and Jamuhuri Day.

The 2026 BBQ Bash brought the community together for a full day of nyama choma, games, dancing, kidpreneur showcases and warm Kenyan hospitality. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and helped make the event a success.
